Professional Installation From The Experts

A Bespoke Approach

With every job, it brings its own set of challenges. We can overcome virtually anything. We can design a fireplace to suit your needs. This might be wood, solid fuel, gas or electric. We offer A Bespoke service from stone fireplace to made to measure hearths. We are the one-stop-shop. We have two in house teams with huge experience in this industry. When we say we have in house teams we mean 'in house' they work for us directly. Unlike a lot of local companies where you get them blaming each other which often leaves you in the middle. We can design a fireplace to suit your needs.

A HETAS Registered Installer

HETAS is a national organisation the acts as a governing body for solid fuel installers. Their requirements state that all solid fuel installations (such as wood-burning stoves and fireplaces) need to be signed off by a HETAS registered installer.

Founder of Yarlet Stoves, Keith, is a HETAS registered installer and ensures that all guidelines are met and carried out competently within legal boundaries. As part of our installation service, Keith will self certify the installation and notify the local authority that the works have been completed in a safe manner.

What are the risks of not using a HETAS Registered Installer?

While on face value it may seem cheaper to have a non-HETAS registered installer complete the works, it does come with very real health & safety - and financial - risks.

If the installation of your stove of other solid fuel items is carried out by someone who is not certified, it is entirely possible that the work carried out will be deemed illegal. This can lead to a fine from your local authority, and you may even find that your house insurance becomes void. That means if you have a fire caused by an incorrectly installed solid fuel appliance, not only will it be devastating for your home and family, your insurance will not payout.

Things To Consider Before Installation

At Yarlet Stoves, we provide an end-to-end service that encompasses the supply and fit of your wood-burning stove, multi-fuel stove, or fireplace.

We carry out free site visits for everyone interested in purchasing one of our products, so you can enjoy sound peace of mind that your installation will be carried out to a high standard and verified by a registered installer.

You may be surprised to find that when it comes to installation, there are a huge amount of things to consider and failure to do so could lead to problems further down the line.

Things to consider include:

  • Do you have an existing chimney breast?
  • What is the minimum distance to combustibles for your stove?
  • What size stove is right for your room?
  • Do you live in a smoke control area?
  • Do you need ventilation?
  • Which type of stove is right for you?
  • Will you save money on your gas bills?

A Gas Safe Registered Installer

If we are installing a gas appliance. We will use our normal experienced gas safe engineer. Our Gas Safe is qualified to carry out all gas-related operations in regard to fires and fireplaces. We can run a new gas supply into a room as well as connecting any gas appliances for use with in the fireplace. We sort everything out so you can sit back and relax.
